Fortunately I don't have "those moments" very often any more but even when we love our job it happens. An innovative entrepreneur in Toledo, OH is capitalizing.... Among the many things I love about my job is the flexibility and time it allows to select local pro bono projects to benefit our community. In 2009 I had the most fun I have had in years collaborating with other community leaders to launch a job club. The unemployment rate in our area exceeded 14% and we created an opportunity to help the many wonderful people who no longer have their job through no fault of their own. The expert film-makers of Above The Shop Studios helped create a short made-for-the-web film documenting the impact of community involvement from this important project. It is because I have designed my job for maximum flexibility and autonomy that I am able to create high impact projects such as this. Definitely my passion in action. This is your new blog post.
